It is the desire of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Allegheny, a County of the second class in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and said Board of County Commissioners hereby signifies its intention to organize a joint authority, together with the City of Pittsburgh, a city of the second class, situate in the County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, under the Public Auditorium Authority Law, Act No. 270, approved July 29, 1953, to be known as the “Sports and Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.”
The Board of County Commissioners hereby appoints as members of the Board of the Sports and Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County the following persons for the following terms:[1]

In pursuance of said desire and intention and in conformity with the terms and provisions of said Public Auditorium Authorities Law, the proposed articles of incorporation are hereby set forth in full, as follows:
Articles of Incorporation
To the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
In compliance with the requirements of the Public Auditorium Authorities Law, Act No. 270, approved July 29, 1953, and pursuant to a resolution of the County of Allegheny, adopted January 12, 1954, and recorded in minute book volume 35 the [date] day of [date] 1954, and recorded in Ordinance book volume ____, page ____, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Allegheny and the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, desiring that a joint Auditorium Authority be established and that a certificate of incorporation be issued to said Authority, do hereby certify:

The name of the Authority shall be: “Public Auditorium Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.”
B.
The Authority is formed under the Public Auditorium Authorities Law, Act No. 270, approved July 29, 1953
C.
The names of the incorporating County and City are the County of Allegheny and City of Pittsburgh.

E.
The term of existence of Public Auditorium Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County shall be extended to a date 50 years from the date of approval of this article of amendment.
The proposed articles of incorporation of said Authority shall be executed by and on behalf of the County of Allegheny by the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of said County and the seal of said Council shall be thereto affixed, attested by the Chief Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners of said County and filed with the Secretary of the Commonwealth. The Solicitor of the County of Allegheny in conjunction with the Solicitor of the City of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be published a notice of intention to file the articles of incorporation with the Secretary of the Commonwealth as required by the aforementioned Act.
