This article shall be known and may be cited as the "Cooperative Pricing
Ordinance of the City of Clifton."
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-11(5), the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into and to execute a cooperative pricing
agreement with the lead agency,[1] or any other contracting unit within the County of Passaic or
adjoining counties, for the purchase of work, materials and supplies.

Editor's Note: "Lead agency" refers to the County of Passaic, according
to the long title of Ord. No. 5486-91.
The lead agency, as well as the City of Clifton, shall be responsible
for complying with the provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A.
40A:11-1 et seq., and all other provisions of the Revised Statutes of the
State of New Jersey, as outlined in the agreement between the County of Passaic
and City of Clifton.
