The Fire Department of the City of Clifton is hereby designated to provide emergency medical services (EMS) and ambulance services for members of the general public.

A. 
The fees to be charged for EMS and ambulance services are as follows:

(1) 
A fee of $950 shall be charged to all persons receiving emergency medical services.

(2) 
In addition to the fee set forth above, there shall be a charge of $20 per mile for transport.

A fee of $100 is to be charged to all persons receiving emergency medical services without transport.

B. 
The Fire Department (the Department) and the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Clifton (the CFO) will be responsible for billing.
The City of Clifton hereby establishes a payment plan and subscription marketing plan in accordance with the Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA) guidelines so that City residents will not be responsible for any copayments after payment is made by their health insurance plan, Medicare or Medicaid.
