All employees who are in the service of the
Township on the effective date of this code are transferred to the
appropriate departments to which their respective functions, powers
and duties have been herein transferred. They shall not by such transfer
be adversely affected in seniority, pension, promotion or salary rights.
Except as otherwise provided herein, all records
and property of the Township are transferred to the respective departments
to which the various functions are assigned by this code.
All ordinances and resolutions adopted before
the effective date of this code shall remain in full force and effect
until repealed or amended, provided that, any found to be inconsistent
with the Charter or this code or law shall be considered repealed
or amended to comply with existing law to the extent of any such inconsistency.
