The Personnel Assistant for the City of Passaic
shall have the duties of the Ethics Officer for the City of Passaic
at no additional compensation.
A.
The Ethics Officer shall coordinate ethics and harassment
training on a once-a-year basis for all employees of the City of Passaic.
B.
The Ethics Officer shall aid in the implementation
of the ethics policy for the City of Passaic, which shall be in accordance
with the Local Government Ethics Law, N.J.S.A 40A:9-22.1.

The City of Passaic hereby adopts by reference
the "City of Passaic Code of Ethics and Business Code of Ethics" dated
September 2008, as amended and supplemented.
A.
A copy of this policy shall be given to each City
official, board member, appointee, member of an agency, elected officers,
members of committees and employees of the City of Passaic within
30 days of the effective date of this article.
B.
All new City officials, employees, board members,
agency members, committee members, elected officials and appointees
shall be given a copy of the "City of Passaic Code of Ethics."
All current and new officials, board members,
agency members, committee members, elected officials, appointees and
employees shall be required to execute the approval of the ethics
code and return same to the Personnel Officer for the City of Passaic.
All City of Passaic vendors shall execute a
consent to the City of Passaic ethics policy and shall submit same
with their bid or proposal or with the executed contract or agreement
with the City of Passaic.
