Beaches and waterways — See Ch. 111.
Public bathing in any of the waters within the Town outside of incorporated village limits, unless in a suitable bathing dress or covering, is hereby prohibited.
Within the bounds of any area zoned for business in Southampton Town outside of incorporated village limits, no persons attired in bathing suits or garments commonly used for swimming or public bathing shall enter any store, hotel or public building or walk or otherwise travel while so attired on any public street, road or public place.

This chapter shall not apply to persons under 12 years of age.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or by imprisonment for a term not to exceed 15 days, or both.
