§ 298-1 Identification required.

All motor vehicles which provide vending services within the City of Passaic shall have printed on the outside of such vehicles the name, address and telephone number of the entity licensed by the City of Passaic to provide such services. No motor vehicle which provides vending services within the City of Passaic may engage in the business of providing such services unless it has complied with the requirements of the preceding sentence.

§ 298-2 Effect of noncompliance upon license issuance.

Whenever any vehicle which provides or is about to provide vending services applies for a license to provide vending services, whether an initial license or a renewal, the licensing authority shall check to ensure compliance with the provisions of § 298-1 hereof. No license shall be granted unless and until such compliance is verified by the licensing authority. The Health Office shall have responsibility for such licensing and verification.
