Any lawful towing of a motor vehicle that is performed without the prior consent or authorization of the owner or operator of the motor vehicle, and is not performed under a contract with the City of Nashua, shall have as a maximum rate the current City requested rate plus other reasonable charges and fees as set forth in the price schedule for the current contractual City towing charges on file at the City Clerk's office.
In addition to the requirements found in NH RSA 262:40-a, notice to the public must include posting a sign(s) in a conspicuous location(s) in the parking garage or parking lot, and the sign(s) must have the following minimum standards. Each sign shall be at least 18 inches by 24 inches in size and constructed of a durable material with the following information in bold print:
"Customer/tenant parking only.
Violators may be towed at vehicle owner's risk and expense.
For towing information call Nashua Police Department at 594-3500."
Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall be subject to punishment as provided in § 1-12 of the City Code.
