[Amended 12-21-1998 by Ord. No. 43-98; 7-6-2009 by Ord. No. 19-2009; 11-21-2022 by Ord. No. 31-2022]
The boundaries of the zoning districts are established
on the map entitled "Zoning Map of the Township of Readington," dated
June 2009, as same may be amended from time to time, which accompanies
and is hereby made part of this chapter.[1]
[1]
Editor's Note: The Zoning Map dated June 2009
is included as Exhibit 6 of Attachment 7 of this chapter. Certain
specified Zoning Map amendments are included as subsequent attachments
to this chapter.
A.
Zoning district boundary lines are intended to follow
street center lines, railroad rights-of-way, streams and lot or property
lines as they exist on lots of record at the time of enactment of
this chapter unless otherwise indicated by dimensions on the Zoning
Map.
B.
Any dimensions shown on the Zoning Map are in feet
and are measured horizontally and, when measured from a street, are
measured from the street right-of-way line even if the center line
of that street is used for the location of the zoning district line.
C.
The exact location of any disputed zoning district
boundary line shall be determined by the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
D.
The zoning standards, controls and designations apply
to every structure, lot and use within each district and the district
lines extend vertically in both directions from ground level.
