Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the intersections and locations described in Schedule I, § 235-40, attached to and made part of this chapter.
The speed limit on all streets in the Town of Cheektowaga, excluding state roads and county and Town streets designated in Schedule II, § 235-41, attached to and made part of this chapter, shall be established at 30 miles per hour.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule III, § 235-42, attached to and made part of this chapter, are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a U-turn on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IV, § 235-43, attached to and made part of this chapter.
No person shall make a turn of any kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule V, § 235-44, attached to and made part of this chapter.
No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (stop indication) at any of the locations described in Schedule VI, § 235-45, attached to and made part of this chapter.
The intersections described in Schedule VII, § 235-46, attached to and made part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The intersections described in Schedule VIII, § 235-47, attached to and made part of this chapter, are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs shall be installed as provided therein.
A. 
A truck route system upon which all trucks, tractors and tractor-trailer combinations having a gross vehicle weight rating in excess of five tons are permitted to travel and operate shall be set forth in Schedule IX, § 235-48A, attached to and made part of this chapter.
B. 
All trucks, tractors and tractor-trailer combinations having a total gross vehicle weight rating in excess of five tons are hereby excluded from all streets except those listed in Schedule IX, § 235-48A, attached to and made part of this chapter. This exclusion shall not be construed to prevent the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other property along the street from which such vehicles and combinations are excluded.
C. 
Trucks and/or delivery vehicles shall use truck routes to service the street addresses of their points of pickup or delivery. Delivery trucks or vehicles shall use Town truck route(s) to a point closest to any excluded street and address of their destination and leave via the closest truck route, provided that such delivery trucks and/or vehicles shall remain on said excluded street or thoroughfare for a period of time no longer than necessary and reasonable to make such delivery or to complete a loading of such vehicle. Pickups and deliveries shall minimize the use of Town and county roads not designated on the truck route system.

A. 
No person, firm or corporation shall drive or operate or permit to be driven or operated any truck, commercial vehicle, tractor, tractor-trailer combination, tractor semitrailer combination or tractor-trailer-semitrailer combination in excess of 25 feet in length, whether loaded or unloaded, into, on, along or through the following designated highways within the Town of Cheektowaga:
(1) 
William Street between Harlem Road (SR 240) and the New York State Thruway (I-90).
B. 
The prohibition herein above provided shall not be construed to prevent such vehicles from said highways at regular street intersections where such vehicles are permitted to operate, nor to prevent the necessary delivery of merchandise or other property, tow trucks or service vehicles to any premises located in or upon any highway above-mentioned, provided that such tow truck, service vehicle or delivery vehicle by which such delivery or service is made shall enter and leave by the nearest accessible street to the place where said delivery or service call is made, and provided that such delivery, tow truck or service vehicle shall remain on said prohibited highway for a period no longer than necessary and reasonable to make such delivery, service call or to complete a loading or unloading of such vehicle.
C. 
A conspicuous and legible sign shall be placed at each entrance to said streets herein designated, clearly indicating such restriction.
All motor vehicles, excluding school buses, are hereby excluded from the following portions of highways, within the Town of Cheektowaga, County of Erie and State of New York, from September 1 to June 30 on days when school is in session from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.:
MAPLEVIEW ROAD
That portion lying east of triangular island, which island is bounded on the north, south and west sides by Corey Court.
Vehicles in the left lane must turn left at the locations listed in Schedule XIV, § 235-53, attached to and made part of this chapter.

Vehicles in the right lane must turn right at the locations listed in Schedule XVII, § 235-56, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
Through traffic must use the right lane at the locations listed in Schedule XV, § 235-54, attached to and made part of this chapter.
