A Township Manager (hereinafter referred to as "Manager") may be appointed for an indefinite term by a majority of all the members of the Board of Supervisors (hereinafter referred to as "Board"). The Manager, if appointed, shall serve at the pleasure of the Board and may be removed at any time by a majority vote of the Board.
The powers and duties of the Manager are set forth in the Manager job description. A copy of the job description is attached to this article and incorporated herein by reference.[1]

If the Manager becomes ill or needs to be absent from the Township, the duties of the Manager shall be performed during his or her absence by such person as may be designated by the Board.
The compensation of the Manager shall be set by resolution of the Board of Supervisors and paid out of the general fund of the Township.
The Board of Supervisors shall direct that the Township Manager give bond to the Township with sufficient surety, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of the office.
The word "Manager" shall be substituted for the word "Administrator" throughout the Code of the Township of Antrim.
