A.Â
The
polls shall remain open for voting at all regular and special municipal
elections of the Town of New Canaan on days other than the days of
a regular or special state election between the hours of 6:00 a.m.
and 8:00 p.m.
B.Â
The
polls shall remain open during the hours between 12:00 noon and 8:00
p.m. for voting on any item on the call for a regular or special town
meeting for which a petition is filed with the Town Clerk calling
for a vote on the voting machines.

The number of Justices of the Peace for New Canaan shall be
fixed at 60.

The Registrars of Voters shall discontinue the maintenance of
separate enrollment lists and shall designate the party affiliation,
if any, of each elector on the registry list with the name of such
elector.
