A.
Legislative findings.
(1)
The Village of Brewster Board of Trustees has considered
and deemed it advisable to enforce, via law enforcement authority,
posted speed limits within the municipality of the Village of Brewster,
New York.
(2)
Given the immediate impact of the Village municipality
infrastructure projects, such as the Village Stormwater Benefit Program
and the Marvin Avenue Extension Project and the resulting traffic
rerouting schemes required as a result of these projects, the modification
of speed limits affected is an immediate necessity.
(3)
The Village of Brewster Board of Trustees now deems
it necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the Village residents
to impose a new speed limit on the Village thoroughfare of Oak Street.
B.
