Within 24 hours after a snowfall or parking in any
manner or at any times which interfere in any manner with the Township's
winter road maintenance program, on any street, drive, road or highway
within the Township.
E.
No parking or stopping on the berm of Route 19 where
no-parking or no-stopping signs are posted.
F.
Babcock Boulevard, Buckwheat Drive, Clover Lane, Logan
Road, Timothy Road, and Warrendale Road, only between the hours of
5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on any Friday night in September, October,
and November on which the athletic stadium located at the Pine-Richland
High School Complex is being utilized for football games.

G.
At all times upon the surface of a sidewalk located
along any public street, drive, road, or highway in the Township of
Pine, regardless of whether "no parking" signs are posted along such
public street, drive, road, or highway. It shall also be prohibited
to park any motor vehicle upon the surface of any public, pedestrian
trail at all times.

A.
All roads, drives, streets and places designated as official Township roads, excepting those specifically designated in Subsection B of this § 138-14, shall be limited to vehicles having a maximum total weight, including any load carried by the vehicle, of five tons (10,000 pounds). School busses, emergency vehicles, and vehicles making local pickups and deliveries shall be exempt from the maximum weight limit imposed in this Subsection A of § 138-14; provided, however, that in the case of overweight vehicles making local pickups and deliveries, such vehicles shall be exempt only when utilizing a course of travel that results in the shortest available route upon roads restricted by the maximum weight limit imposed herein. The Township of Pine shall not refuse to issue a permit for use of its roads by vehicles in excess of the within stated weight limit if there is no reasonable alternate route (defined as a route which meets the criteria therefore as established in regulations of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation relating to traffic and engineering studies) available.
B.

C.
The Township of Pine and/or its police are hereby
authorized to use all weight measurement devices approved by any agency
of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to determine the weight of vehicles.
D.
Signs publicizing the vehicle weight limitations specified in Subsection B of this § 138-14 shall hereafter be erected and maintained within 25 feet of each end of the portion of roadway so restricted. In the case of any restriction which does not begin or end at an intersection with an unrestricted road, an advance informational sign shall be placed at the intersection nearest each end of the restricted portion of such road.
E.
School busses, emergency vehicles and vehicles making
local pickups and deliveries shall be exempt from the maximum weight
limits imposed herein; provided, however, that in the case of overweight
vehicles making local pickups and deliveries, such vehicles shall
be exempt only when utilizing a course of travel that results in the
shortest available route upon roads restricted by the maximum weight
limit imposed herein.
F.
The Township of Pine shall not refuse to issue a permit for use of the roads specified in Subsection B of this § 138-14 by vehicles in excess of the respective, above-stated weight limits if there is no reasonable alternate route (defined as a route which meets the criteria therefor as established in regulations of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation relating to traffic and engineering studies) available.
U-turns are not permitted on any highway, street
or roadway in Pine Township where "no U-turn" signs are posted.

All new traffic signals installed within the Township shall be equipped with an electronic signal control system for use in emergency situations. Such a system shall be designed to permit emergency vehicles to electronically change the traffic signals to permit safe passage through signalized intersections. Unauthorized use of this system, or use in other than emergency situations, will constitute a violation of this chapter, and violators will be subject to the violations and penalties provisions of § 138-8 of this chapter.

lanes, ways, and alleys within the Township of Pine, whether public
or private, are located, identified, named, and shown on the hereinafter
referenced map, which map is incorporated in and made a part of this
chapter. Such map, dated March 1, 2014 (or any subsequently revised
edition thereof), is hereby designated as the Township of Pine's "Official
Road Map." The Official Road Map and all the notations, references
and other information shown thereon are a part of this chapter and
have the same force and effect as if the Official Road Map and all
the notations, references and other information shown thereon were
all fully set forth or described herein. The original of such Official
Road Map is property attested and is on file in the office of the
Township Manager.
