The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Freeport
may, upon application of any employee of the Incorporated Village of Freeport,
authorize the deduction from compensation paid to said employee of a sum of
money equal to the amount required as tuition for courses, correspondence
or otherwise which are a prerequisite to advancement.
The approval of the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of an application
by any employee for said deduction must be obtained prior to the deduction
for said tuition from compensation.
Reimbursement of any tuition deducted from the employee's compensation
shall be made directly to said employee upon proof of the successful completion
of the course or courses for which tuition was deducted.
