[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of
the Village of Theresa 11-7-2005 by Ord. No. 351-001. Amendments noted

Pursuant to §§ 60.22(3) and 62.23(2)
and (3), Wis. Stats, the Village of Theresa is authorized to prepare
and adopt a comprehensive plan as defined in §§ 66.1001(1)(a)
and 66.1001(2), Wis. Stats.
The Village Board of the Village of Theresa
has adopted written procedures designed to foster public participation
in every stage of the preparation of a comprehensive plan as required
by § 66.1001(4)(a), Wis. Stats.
A.
The Village of Theresa Plan Commission, by a majority
vote of the entire Commission recorded in its official minutes, has
adopted a resolution recommending to the Village Board the adoption
of the document entitled "Village of Theresa Year 2030 Comprehensive
Plan" containing all of the elements specified in § 66.1001(2),
Wis. Stats.
B.
The Village of Theresa has provided numerous opportunities
for public involvement in accordance with the public participation
strategy adopted by the Plan Commission, including numerous public
meetings with respect to preparation of the Village of Theresa Year
2030 Comprehensive Plan, a public informational meeting on November
16, 2004, a public hearing on August 23, 2005, in compliance with
the requirements of § 66.1001(4), Wis. Stats.
C.
The Village Board of the Village of Theresa does,
by the enactment of this chapter, formally adopt the document entitled
"Village of Theresa Year 2030 Comprehensive Plan" pursuant to § 66.1001(4)(c),
Wis. Stats.
D.
The Village of Theresa Plan Commission, by a majority vote of the
entire commission recorded in its official minutes dated July 6, 2015,
has adopted a resolution recommending to the Village Board the adoption
of the document entitled "Village of Theresa Comprehensive Plan" containing
all of the elements specified in § 66.1001(2), Wis. Stats.

E.
The Village of Theresa has provided numerous opportunities for public
involvement in accordance with the public participation strategy adopted
by the Village Board including numerous public meetings with respect
to the update of the "Village of Theresa Comprehensive Plan" and a
public hearing on July 6, 2015, in compliance with the requirements
of § 66.1001(4), Wis. Stats.

The Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Theresa does, by
the enactment of this ordinance, formally adopt the attached document
entitled, "Village of Theresa Comprehensive Plan" pursuant to § 66.1001(4)(c),
Wis. Stats.
