Each Supervisor of Lower Salford Township who shall be elected or appointed
to office after the effective date of this article shall receive compensation
for attending duly advertised general or special public meetings or hearings
of the Board of Supervisors, or other meetings authorized by the Board of
Supervisors, at a rate of $270 per month or $812.50 per quarter, not to exceed
$3,250 per year.
Such compensation shall be paid in monthly or quarterly installments
as determined by the Township.
Nothing in this article shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding
pending in any court, or any rights acquired or any liabilities incurred,
or any permits issued, or any cause or causes of action existing under the
ordinances of the Township of Lower Salford prior to the enactment of this
article.
The failure of the Township to enforce any provision of this article
shall not constitute a waiver by the Township of its rights of future enforcement
hereunder.
This article hereby incorporates the provisions of the Second Class
Township Code which govern the Supervisors' compensation as if set forth
here in full.
