A. 
There shall be an Office for the Aging, headed by a Director who shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the County Executive. He or she shall be appointed based upon his or her education, experience and qualifications to perform the duties of the office and subject to the confirmation of the County Legislature.
B. 
Powers and duties. The Director of the Office for the Aging shall have all the powers and perform all the duties now or hereafter conferred or imposed upon him or her by law and perform such other and related duties required by the County Executive or County Legislature.
