§ 90-1 Unlawful acts by minor.

It shall be unlawful for any minor under the age of 16 years to loiter, idle or congregate in or on any public street, highway, alley, park, or public place between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., immediately following, except where the minor is accompanied by a parent or guardian, or some adult over the age of 21 years delegated by the parent or guardian to accompany the minor child, or where the minor is upon an errand or other legitimate business directed by his parent or guardian.

§ 90-2 Responsibilities of parent or guardian.

It shall be unlawful for any parent, guardian or other person having the legal care and custody of a minor under the age of 16 years to allow or permit any such child, ward or other person under such age while in his legal custody to loiter, idle or congregate in or on any public street, highway, alley, park, or public place, in said City, between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., immediately following, except where the minor is accompanied by his said parent or guardian, or some adult over the age of 21 years delegated by the said parent or guardian to accompany the minor child, or where the minor is upon an errand or other legitimate business directed by his said parent or guardian.

§ 90-3 Unlawful to assist minor in violating provisions.

It shall be unlawful for any person of the age of 16 years or over to assist, aid, abet, allow, permit, or encourage any minor under the age of 16 years to violate the provisions of § 90-1 hereof.

§ 90-4 Violations and penalties.

Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable as a misdemeanor as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, Penalties, § 1-17B.
