§ 104-2 Discharge of firearms and fireworks prohibited; exceptions.

No person, except law enforcement officers, shall discharge any firearm within the City of Grand Ledge. No person shall discharge any fireworks or firecrackers or other explosive devices within the City unless a permit for such activity has been issued by the City Council or its duly authorized designee. Nothing in this section shall prohibit the operation of any ceremonial honor guard in Oakwood Cemetery.

§ 104-3 Prohibited acts.

No person shall within said City of Grand Ledge fire off any toy pistol or air gun, or throw any substance from sling shots or other similar device or apparatus on any street of said City.

§ 104-4 Violations and penalties.

Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable as a misdemeanor as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, Penalties, § 1-17C.
