The City is authorized to require all persons
constructing storm sewer facilities to post with the City engineer
liability insurance coverage in the amount of up to one million dollars
as approved by the City engineer.
As per subdivision ordinance.
A.Â
No person shall make a change in land use or install
urban storm water facilities which are not in accordance with the
urban storm water runoff control standards stated in this Part 7.
B.Â
Each violation of these regulations shall be a misdemeanor.
Each violation for each day it shall continue shall constitute a separate
offense, and each violation shall be punishable by either a fine of
not more than seven hundred fifty dollars and/or by imprisonment for
a period not exceeding six months.
C.Â
Upon knowledge of a violation, the City may require
the City attorney to commence action to correct the violation, charge
the offender for costs incurred in correcting the violation, and otherwise
punish the offender as provided by law.
These regulations shall be and are hereby declared
to be in full force and effect upon the date of passage.
