The proprietor or exhibitor of every menagerie,
circus, carnival, parade or exhibition of feats of horsemanship shall,
before giving or holding any exhibition or performance within the
corporate limits of the City, first apply to the City Clerk for a
license therefor, for which such proprietor or exhibitor shall pay
$125 for each week or portion thereof an exhibition or performance
is held within the corporate limits of the City.

It shall be unlawful for any proprietor or exhibitor
of any menagerie, circus, carnival, parade or exhibition of feats
of horsemanship not having a license to exhibit within the corporate
limits of the City or to have or hold a parade or display of any kind
whatsoever upon the streets or highways of the City without first
obtaining a license therefor, as provided in the preceding section.
