The Registrar of Vital Statistics of the Township of Franklin shall
charge to applicants the following fees with respect to birth, death and marriage
certificates and correction of same:
A.Â
For furnishing certified copies of birth, death or marriage
certificates: $10 per certified copy.

B.Â
For correcting any birth, death or marriage certificates:
$1 each.
C.Â
For searching records pertaining to birth, death or marriage
certificates: no charge.
Said fees shall be paid by the applicant immediately upon the furnishing
of the requested certificate or correction thereof.
The said Registrar shall account to the Township Treasurer for the fees
collected by him with respect to the furnishing of certified copies of birth,
death and marriage certificates, or the correction of same, and pay over the
fees so collected to the Township Treasurer.
Notwithstanding anything hereinabove contained, no fee shall be charged
for furnishing certified copies of any birth, death or marriage certificate
required by a federal agency for use in determining eligibility for benefits
made available by or through said agency pursuant to N.J.S.A. 3A:27-5.
