[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Council of
the Town of Stanley 10-10-1973 as Ch. 1, § 1-23, of the

The Town Seal shall be a corded circle with
an inner corded circle; and in the space between these circles and
conforming to the upper half of the arc thereof shall be the words
"TOWN OF STANLEY," which shall be preceded and followed by the figure
—"; and in the space between these circles and conforming to
the lower half of the arc thereof shall be the words "STANLEY, VA.";
and in the inner circle and conforming to the upper half of the arc
thereof shall be the word "CHARTERED," beneath which shall be the
figure" —.—," under which and in a horizontal position
shall be the word and figures "FEBRUARY 14," under which and in a
horizontal position shall be the figures "1900," beneath which shall
be the figure" —.—."
The Town Clerk shall be custodian of the Town
Seal.
