No person shall, within the limits of the Township of Carneys Point, appear on any street, road, avenue, park or other place in a state of nudity or make any indecent act or behave in a lewd or indecent manner.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, bathe, swim or be found in a state of nudity in the waters in any pond, stream or lake located therein.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, disrobe in any automobile, truck or vehicle while the same is upon any parking place, street, road, avenue, park or other public place.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, sell or offer to sell any indecent or lewd picture, book or thing or exhibit or perform any indecent, immoral or lewd play or other representation.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, keep or maintain a gaming house, a house of ill fame or a disorderly house or allow or permit, in any house, shop, store or other building or on any premises owned or occupied by him or her, any faro table, faro bank, roulette wheel or other device or game of chance for the purpose of gaming or any cockpit or other place for the exhibition of animals while engaged in fighting; and no person shall hold in any house, shop, store or other building, or on any premises, or permit to be held in any house, shop, store or other building, or on any premises or any building owned or occupied by him or her, any dogfight, cockfight or any sparring contest for a purse or prize money.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, operate or use any radio receiving set, phonograph or other sound-producing instrument, device or apparatus in such manner that the sound thereof shall annoy any person or persons or disturb the comfort, rest or repose of any person or persons being in his, her or their place of abode.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, make or continue to cause to be made or continue any unnecessary noise which shall disturb the comfort, rest or repose of any person or persons or annoy any person or persons being in his, her or their place of abode.

No persons shall, within the limits of said Township, discard, deposit, throw or leave any wastepaper, tin cans, bottles, garbage, waste or refuse of any kind upon any parking place, street, road, avenue, park or other public place or upon any lot or other premises, except in receptacles or containers provided for such purpose.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, throw or discard any tin cans, bottles, garbage or refuse or any kind whatsoever into the waters of any pond, stream or lake or into water adjacent thereto.
No person, shall, within the limits of said Township, loiter on any street, road, avenue or other public place or in or about any public building, and no person shall, on any street, road, avenue or other public place within the limits of said Township, utter any loud and offensive or indecent language or make offensive remarks to or upon any person or persons passing along or being upon any such street, road, avenue or other public place or obstruct or interfere with any person or persons being upon any of the same.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, go about from door to door or place himself or herself in any street or streets or other public places to beg or gather alms.

No person shall, within the limits of said Township, engage or participate in any practice, sport or exercise having a tendency to annoy, disturb or frighten any person or persons on any street, road, avenue, park or other public place.

No person shall cause rays to be cast from an illuminating device on any structure located within the Township of Carneys Point. This section shall not apply to the owner or occupant of such structure. In addition, this section shall not apply to police, fire or other emergency personnel when acting in the performance of their duties.

No person shall cause rays from an illuminating device to be cast on any lands within the Township of Carneys Point where deer or other animals may reasonably be expected to be found between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and dawn. This section shall not apply to police, fire or other emergency personnel when acting in the performance of their duties.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, willfully and maliciously ring or cause to be rung any bell or alarm of any fire company and thereby give or cause to be given a false alarm of fire.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township or on any street, road, avenue, park or other public place, ring any bell or blow any horn or make any public outcry at or for any public sale, auction or venue or to advertise any goods, wares or merchandise for sale or to attract any attention to or gain passengers for any cab, taxicab hack or omnibus.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, maliciously destroy, damage or injure any property.[1]

No person shall play, for money or other valuable thing, at cards, at billiards, at pool tables or shuffleboard, at faro bank or other bank of like kind, under any denomination whatever, at dice or any other game with one or more die or dice or with any other instrument or device in the nature of dice having one or more figure or figures, number or roulette or other device or game of chance, whether as banker, players, dealers or otherwise, for the purpose of gaming.
No person shall play, for money or other thing, with a slot machine or device in the nature of a slot machine or with any other instrument, engine apparatus or device having one or more figure or figures, number or numbers thereon; and no person shall have or keep in his or her place of business or other premises any such slot machine or device in the nature of a slot machine which may be used for the purpose of playing for money or other valuable thing.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township and without lawful authority, carry any revolver, pistol or other firearm or other instrument of the kind known as a blackjack, sling shot, billy sandclub, sandbag, bludgeon, metal knuckles, dagger, dirk, dangerous knife, stiletto, bomb or other high explosive concealed in or about his or her clothes or person or in any automobile, carriage, motorcycle or other vehicle.

No person shall, within the limits of said Township, have upon his or her person any picklock, key, crown, jackbit or other implement with an intent to break and enter into any building or have upon his or her person any pistol, hanger, cutlass, bludgeon or other offensive or dangerous weapon with intent to assault any person; and no person shall hide or be found in or near any dwelling house, warehouse, stable, barn, garage, schoolhouse or any place of public resort or assemblage for business, worship, amusement or other lawful purposes, with an intent to steal any goods or chattels.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, enter the building or go upon the lands of any public school and break, injure or deface such building or any part thereof or the fences or outhouses belonging to or connected with such building or lands, and no person shall disturb the exercise of any public school or molest or give annoyance to the children attending such school or annoy any teacher therein.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, be intoxicated or drunk and disorderly in any street, highway, thoroughfare or public place or in any private house or in any hotel, boardinghouse, store, restaurant or other quasi-public place to the annoyance of any person.

No person shall unnecessarily obstruct any street, alley or public place within the limits of the Township with any kind of vehicle or vehicles or with box or boxes, lumber, wood or any other thing.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, hinder or obstruct any Township officer in the performance of his duties, nor shall any person willfully refuse to assist any Township official who lawfully calls upon him to do so in the execution of any process or in the suppression of any breach in the peace or disorderly conduct or in case of an escape or when such officer is resisted in the discharge of his duty; nor shall any person knowingly resist or oppose any officer or person authorized by law in serving or attempting to serve any writ, bill, order or process or when making any arrest, whether with or without a warrant.
No person shall injure or mutilate at any time or place any fire engine, hook-and-ladder truck, hose truck, hose ladders, buckets or other fire apparatus belonging to the Fire Department of the Township nor in any way interfere with the same, nor shall any person drive a vehicle or vehicles over any hose or other fire equipment during a fire.
No person shall, within the limits of said Township, during an alarm of fire hinder, prevent or deter, by any device whatsoever, any fireman or other person from rendering lawful assistance in abating or quelling such fire or hinder or interfere with any fire man from going to or returning from the place where the building or other property is on fire or from which an alarm proceeds; nor shall any person hinder or obstruct the passage of any fire engine, hook or ladder truck, hose cart or any fire apparatus in going to or from the place from which an alarm or fire proceeds to where any building or other property may be burning.[1]

No person shall engage in, or attempt or offer to engage in, or aid, abet or participate in any fight, assault, quarrel, brawl, battery, altercation, disturbance, riot or unruly, boisterous, noisy, unlawful or disorderly assemblage, nor shall any person in any way breach or disturb the peace.
No person shall fire or discharge any pistol, revolver, rifle, gun, air gun or fowling piece or any kind of firearm or a cannon in, on, along or near any street, highway, sidewalk, footpath, park or other public place within the limits of said Township, except when expressly permitted by law.

No person shall operate a motorcycle, motor vehicle or other conveyance in, on or over any sidewalk, footpath or pathway within the limits of said Township.
No person shall in any way injure, destroy, break, mutilate, deface or tamper with any streetlight, pole or fixture, or any part thereof, in any street, highway, park or other public place within the limits of said Township.
No person shall paste, write, clip, paint, print, nail, clamp or otherwise fasten, inscribe or affix any notice, placard or advertisement against or upon any wall, gate, house, store, shop, shed, fence, rock, stump, tree, shrub, bush, promontory building or structure without the consent of the owner or occupant of the same, except when done by a public officer in the performance of his duties.
No person shall paste, clip, paint, nail, clamp or otherwise fasten, inscribe or affix any notice, placard or advertisement upon any public building, sidewalk, fence, curbstone, wall, park or other public property or place within the limits of said Township, except with the permission of the Township Committee.

No person shall open, injure, destroy, deface, mutilate, break or tamper with any fire hydrant in any public street or public place within the limits of said Township, except members of the Township Fire Department actually engaged in the performance of their duties.
Other riotous conduct, indecent conduct, breaches of the peace, vagrancy and prostitution not hereinbefore mentioned are hereby prohibited within the limits of said Township.
The term "person" and the term "persons," as used in this article, shall, wherever appropriate in connection with the context, include "corporation" and "corporations," respectively.
All fines imposed and collected under and by virtue of this article shall be paid into the treasury of said Township.

Each and every person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction before the Township Judge authorized to hear and determine the matter, be subject to a fine of not more than $1,000 or imprisonment in the County jail for a period of not more than 90 days, or both, in the jurisdiction of the Judge.
