It shall be unlawful and it is hereby prohibited for any person, persons, association or company to discharge in or into any street, alley or public place in said Township any rifle, gun, pistol, revolver, cane, cannon or other appliance, whether projecting or exploding any bullet, cartridge, blank cartridge, cap or otherwise or any explosive substance or mixture of chlorates or nitrates.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article, upon conviction thereof, shall pay a fine of not exceeding $1,000 or shall be imprisoned in the County jail for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both, for each violation thereof.

No person, firm or corporation shall, within the limits of Carneys Point, discharge any gun, revolver, pistol, rifle or other arms or weapon of any kind in which compressed air is used in place of gunpowder or dynamite in order to effect the discharge.
