Pursuant to the provisions of the Sewerage Authorities
Law (P.L. 1946, c. 138; N.J.S.A. 40:14A-1 et seq.) of the State of New Jersey,
there is hereby created a public body, corporate and politic, under the name
and style of the "Cinnaminson Sewerage Authority."

The Authority shall consist of five members appointed
by resolution in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:14A-4b. The governing body may
also appoint one or two alternate members to serve during the absence or disqualification
of any regular member(s). If only one alternate is appointed, his or her term
shall be for a term of five years commencing on February 1 of the year of
appointment and expiring on the fifth January 31 next ensuing. If two alternate
members are appointed, they shall be known as "Alternate No. 1" and Alternate
No. 2." The initial terms of appointment for Alternate No. 1 and Alternate
No. 2 shall be for four and five years, respectively, commencing on the dates
of their appointment and expiring on the fourth or fifth January 31 next ensuing
after the dates of appointment, as the case may be. Thereafter, the term of
each appointment shall be for five years commencing on February 1 of the year
of appointment and expiring on the fifth January 31 next ensuing after the
date of appointment. Alternate members may participate in discussions of the
proceedings but may not vote, except in the absence or disqualification of
a regular member. A vote shall not be delayed in order that a regular member
may vote instead of an alternate member. The order of voting shall be Alternate
No. 1 for the first absence or disqualification of a regular member followed
by Alternate No. 2 for the second absence or disqualification. Alternate members
shall receive the same compensation as regular members.
The Cinnaminson Sewerage Authority hereby created is a sewerage authority
as contemplated and provided for by said Sewerage Authorities Law and shall
have and exercise all of the powers and perform all of the duties provided
for by said Sewerage Authorities Law and any other statutes heretofore or
hereafter enacted and applicable thereto.

Members of the Cinnaminson Sewerage Authority may receive from the Cinnaminson
Sewerage Authority compensation for their services as members, within the
limitation hereby stated that no member shall receive in excess of $2,000
per annum with compensation to be increased in increments of $100 per year
(to the maximum of $2,000).

A copy of this chapter, duly certified by the Township Clerk of the
Township, shall forthwith be filed by said Township Clerk in the office of
the Secretary of State of the State of New Jersey.
