The office of Deputy Municipal Clerk is hereby
established within the Town of Dover, County of Morris and State of
New Jersey. The municipal governing body shall make appointment to
this office by resolution. It shall be the duties and functions of
such office to assist in all manners the Municipal Clerk, and during
the absence or disability of the Municipal Clerk, the Deputy Municipal
Clerk shall have all the powers of the Municipal Clerk and shall perform
the functions and duties of such office.
The term of such office shall be for one year
commencing on January 1 and ending on December 31.[1]
