On January 1, 1924, the Township Committee of the Township of East Amwell, did create in said township a Fire District known under the corporate name of Commissioners of Fire District Number One, in the Township of East Amwell, and County of Hunterdon, which Fire District was described by meets and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the point formed at the intersection of the road leading from Larison's Corner to Flemington, by the intersection of the line of the road leading from Larison's Corner to Reaville, and running thence (1) north fifty-one degrees, forty minutes east, four hundred and fifty-six feet; thence (2) north, fifty-six degrees, forty-five minutes east, twenty-three hundred fifty feet; thence (3) south, forty-two degrees thirty minutes east, seventeen hundred twenty-five feet; thence (4) south, nine degrees, fifty-five minutes east eight hundred twenty-seven feet; thence (5) south, seventeen degrees, forty-five minutes east, six hundred forty-five feet; thence (6) south, thirty-two degrees east, nine hundred seventeen feet; thence (7) twenty-three degrees fifty minutes east, thirteen hundred fifty-nine feet; A. 
On September 19, 1931, application in writing signed by at least 10 freeholders of the territory in said township not included in said Fire District was made to the Township Committee, requesting that all of the remaining area of the Township of East Amwell be added to and included in said Fire District No. One. The Township Committee of the Township of East Amwell has decided to grant the application above mentioned and increase the area of said Fire District No. One by adding thereto all of the territory of the Township of East Amwell not included in said Fire District, thereby including in said Fire District the entire area of the said Township of East Amwell.
B. 
Fire District No. One of the Township of East Amwell shall be hereby enlarged by extending the boundaries hereof, so as to include therein as part thereof additional lands situate in said township, and not now being within the boundary of said District, said lands being all of the lands and area of the Township of East Amwell not now included within the limits of said Fire District.
C. 
Said Fire District No. One of the Township of East Amwell in the County of Hunterdon, after the lands not included in the original area and boundaries of said Fire District have been added thereto and included therein, shall be as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the center of the road leading from Clover Hill to Ringoes, which point is in the line dividing the County of Hunterdon from the County of Somerset and running thence in a westerly direction along the line dividing the Township of East Amwell from the Township of Raritan, the several courses thereof until said line meets the line dividing the Township of East Amwell from the Township of Delaware, thence running along the line dividing the Township of Delaware from the Township of East Amwell the several courses thereof until the same meets the line dividing the Township of East Amwell from the Township of West Amwell, thence along the line dividing the Township of East Amwell from the Township of West Amwell, the several courses thereof until said line dividing the Township of East Amwell from the Township of West Amwell is intersected by the line dividing the County of Hunterdon from the County of Mercer, thence along the line dividing the County of Hunterdon from the County of Mercer the several courses thereof until the same intersects the line dividing the County of Hunterdon from the County of Somerset and thence along the line dividing the County of Somerset from the County of Hunterdon the several courses thereof to the point or place of BEGINNING. Being all of the land within the territorial limits of the Township of East Amwell, which said lands comprise the entire area of said Township of East Amwell.
