As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
Actinolite, amosite, anthophyllite, chrysolite, crocidolite, tremolite.
Asbestos or any material containing asbestos.
No person shall demolish any building or structure within the borough which contains any boiler, pipe or load-supporting structural member that is insulated or fireproofed with fireable asbestos material except in compliance with the requirements and procedures set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 40, Chapter 1, Section 61.22(d), and as the same may hereafter be amended or supplemented.
No person shall spray any asbestos or asbestos material within the borough except in compliance with the requirements and procedures set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 40, Chapter 1, Section 61.22(e), and as the same may hereafter be amended or supplemented.
The Borough Building Subcode Official is hereby designated as the borough
official responsible for the enforcement of this chapter.
