If all required exhibits and fees have been received to the satisfaction of the Franklin Township Construction Code Official and Township Engineer, the Franklin Township Construction Code Official will issue the opening permit. The permit shall contain the following data:
A. 
A listing of the supporting documents, plans, specifications, etc., that are the basis for the permit.
B. 
A brief description of the location of the proposed opening and the work contemplated.
C. 
A termination date.
D. 
The method and amount of fees paid.

An opening permit may be renewed for a period of time not to exceed the total time of the original permit, upon request of the permittee and upon payment of an additional fee as provided Chapter 182, Fees.
Opening permits are not transferable.
A. 
Permits issued under the provisions of these regulations will expire at 12:00 midnight of the day indicated on said permit or of the day of expiration of any extension to said permit.
B. 
Permits will also be revoked at any time it might be found by the Township Committee that the permittee has failed to comply with the provisions of these regulations or the permit and after 24 hours' written notice has been given to the permittee without correction of said failure to comply.
C. 
If after permit revocation it becomes necessary for the Township of Franklin either to complete the work or to refill and repair the opening, the cost of such work by the Township of Franklin will be deducted from any deposit fees that may have been paid by the permittee, or if a surety or corporation bond has been given, then said bond will be declared to be in default to the extent of said unpaid costs.
D. 
Reinstatement of revoked permits will occur only after favorable recommendation of the Engineer and Street Commissioner and on majority affirmative vote of the Committee.
