Township of Manalapan, NJ Chapter 43 Tort Claims

§ 43-1 Tort Claim Form.

The Township Committee hereby establishes and adopts the attached Tort Claim Form[1] and authorizes the Township Clerk to establish such procedures as may be deemed appropriate for the proper receipt, evaluation and processing of claims against the Township of Manalapan.[2]

§ 43-2 Filing of claim on official form required.

Whenever a communication is received asserting a claim against the Township of Manalapan, the person asserting the claim shall be notified that all claims must be filed on the official form established for that purpose.

§ 43-3 Certified copy of chapter.

A certified copy of this chapter shall be forwarded to the Township Clerk.
