There is hereby created pursuant to N.J.S.A.
40A:9-140.1 et seq. the position of Chief Financial Officer. The appointment
to said position shall be made by the Mayor with the consent of the
governing body. The term of office shall be for a period of one (1)
year, provided that the initial appointment shall be for the balance
of the calendar year in which it is made.
The qualifications for Chief Financial Officer
shall be in accordance with those specified in N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1
et seq., and the duties shall be those set forth in N.J.S.A. 52:27BB-26
et seq.
