As used in this chapter, the following words or terms shall have the meanings indicated:
RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
A vehicle, whether motorized or without independent power, used for recreational purposes, including camping trailers, motor homes, boats, and trailers appurtenant thereto.
TRAILER
An unpowered vehicle pulled or towed by a powered vehicle such as a car or truck via a hitch. The trailer has wheels and can be built as a flat-bed, open-air trailer or as an enclosed trailer with shelving units or specialty equipment built in.

No person, firm or corporation shall park a recreational vehicle or trailer upon any road, street, highway or public right-of-way within the Township. All recreational vehicles or trailers shall be parked or stored in accord with § 62-57H. All recreational vehicles or trailers shall be located and stored in a safe, orderly manner, and any protective tarps or covers shall be securely fastened. No recreational vehicle or trailer, while stored or parked as permitted in this section, shall be occupied or used for living, sleeping, housekeeping or storage purposes. Any recreational vehicle or trailer, left parked or stored on private premises, without being used or moved within one year, shall be subject to the violations and penalties under § 52-4.

Emergency or temporary parking or stopping of a recreational vehicle or trailer is permitted on any street or highway within the Township of Evesham for not longer than 72 hours, subject, however, to any other further prohibitions or limitations imposed by the traffic and parking regulations for that street or highway.
A violation of this chapter shall subject the violator to a written warning for the first offense; the second offense, and each offense thereafter, shall subject the violator to a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $250 or by imprisonment of not less than one day nor more than 15 days, or by a combination of fine and imprisonment.
