Town of Snow Hill, MD Chapter 19 Exemption From County Legislation

§ 19-1 Definitions.

As used in this chapter, unless the context clearly requires otherwise, the following words or phrases shall have the following meanings:

LEGISLATION

Any form of county or municipal legislative enactment, including a law, ordinance, resolution and any action by which a county's budget is adopted.

§ 19-2 General exemption.

The Town of Snow Hill shall be exempt from all legislation enacted by Worcester County relating to a subject with respect to which the Town of Snow Hill has a grant of legislative authority provided either by public general law or its Charter.

§ 19-3 Prospective and retrospective effect.

This chapter shall apply both prospectively and retrospectively.
