The position of Tax Collector of the Borough
of Haledon is hereby created.
Said duties are as outlined in N.J.S.A. 40A:9-141,
and the Tax Collector shall perform such other duties as provided
by law and as are assigned from time to time by the Mayor and Council.
The term of office of Tax Collector shall be
fixed at a term of four years from the first day of January. Said
appointment shall be made by the Mayor with the advice and consent
of the Council, and the salary of the Tax Collector shall be as fixed,
from time to time, by the annual salary ordinance.
