No person shall install any tank except in accordance with the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code of the Borough of Haledon.
Prior to the installation of a tank, application shall be made to the Fire Chief of the Borough of Haledon for the installation of the tank on forms which are to be obtained from the Fire Chief.

No permit for the installation of a tank or tanks that will be used to contain flammable material or for the removal and demolition of a tank or tanks that contain flammable material, shall be issued until the Fire Subcode Official of the Borough of Haledon has caused an inspection to be made and until a certification has been made that the installation or the demolition complies with the requirements of the Fire Prevention Code.

The fees for the permit shall accompany the application and shall be payable to the Borough of Haledon. The fees shall be as follows:

No tank shall be installed in any public right-of-way except upon application to the Mayor and Council.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding $500 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
