The provisions of this article imposing a time limit on parking shall not relieve any person of the duty to observe other and more restrictive parking prohibiting or limiting the parking of vehicles as set forth in N.J.S.A. 39:4-138, any other New Jersey statutes or as hereinafter provided.

A. 
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule I (§ 205-21), attached to and made a part of this chapter, except as indicated in said Schedule I.
B. 
Any person violating this section shall be fined $20, plus court costs and an ATS (automated traffic system) surcharge of $1.

A. 
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule II (§ 205-22) of any day (except Sundays and public holidays) upon any of the streets described in said Schedule II, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
B. 
Any person violating § 205-4, as outlined in § 205-22A, shall be fined $10, plus court costs and an ATS surcharge of $1. Any person violating § 205-4, as outlined in § 205-22B, shall be fined $20, plus court costs and an ATS surcharge of $1.

A. 
No person shall park upon any of the streets or parts thereof as described in Schedule III (§ 205-23), attached to and made a part of this chapter, except as indicated in Schedule III.
B. 
Any person violating this section shall be fined $20, plus court costs and an ATS surcharge of $1.

A. 
County roads.
(1) 
No person shall park a vehicle in any of the areas indicated on Schedule IX (§ 205-28.1) between the 15th of November and the 31st of March of every year except Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
(2) 
Parking shall be based on alternate side of the street, based on odd and even days of the week, up to 24 hours after a snowfall.
(3) 
Any person violating this subsection shall have his or her vehicle towed and shall be responsible for all towing charges and shall be fined not more than $50 and court costs and such other surcharges as may be mandated by the State of New Jersey.
B. 
Borough roads.
(1) 
No person shall park a vehicle on any of the streets as indicated in Schedule X (§ 205-28.2) between the 15th of November and the 31st of March of every year except Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day during a snowfall.
(2) 
Parking shall be based on alternate side of the street, based on odd and even days of the week, up to 24 hours after a snowfall.
(3) 
Any person violating this subsection shall have his or her vehicle towed and shall be responsible for all towing charges and shall be fined not more than $50 and court costs and such other surcharges as may be mandated by the State of New Jersey.

A. 
No person shall park a vehicle on streets or parts of streets as described within the following sections unless an appropriate and current parking permit as issued by the Borough of Haledon is displayed on said vehicle, affixed to the lower-right area of the rear driver's side window of the resident's vehicle, for those streets or parts of as described or listed within the following sections:

B. 
Each dwelling unit having a mailing address on Aberdeen Court or Grove Street is entitled to three temporary guest passes for parking on their respective street with no expiration date, which shall be placed on the driver's side of the dashboard of the temporary guest's vehicle. In addition, upon request, the resident shall be issued a one-day (24 hours) pass which shall expire exactly one day (24 hours) from the date of issuance. Said guest pass shall constitute a resident permit for the purposes of this section and shall not proscribe the resident applicant from additionally parking his/her own vehicle on Aberdeen Court or Grove Street.
C. 
The Borough Clerk shall issue all permits pursuant to this section upon satisfactory proof of residency on Aberdeen Court, which proof shall include a driver's license or valid New Jersey ID, a current PSE&G statement, and a current municipal tax statement or, in the case of a tenant, a current certificate of occupancy. The Borough Clerk may also issue guest permits to residents of Aberdeen Court and Grove Street for future dates which shall be the effective date of issuance. There shall be no charge for the issuance of permits pursuant to this section.
D. 
In the event of unforeseeable circumstances in which a temporary guest pass cannot be obtained in a timely manner, the resident must notify the Police Department of the license plate number, make and model of vehicle and the name and address of the Aberdeen Court or Grove Street resident. Said notification shall allow the temporary guest to park on Aberdeen Court as if a temporary guest pass had been issued.
E. 
Signs conforming to specifications set forth in the New Jersey Statutes regarding no-parking signs shall be erected in conspicuous locations within and around Aberdeen Court and Grove Street. Said signs shall clearly indicate that there is no parking except by resident permit only and specifically citing this section. Said signs shall also indicate that the vehicles shall be towed at the owner's expense.
F. 
Parking tickets shall be issued by the Haledon Police Department to any vehicle without a permit and without exception. The Haledon Police Department shall also immediately call the towing company of the Borough and have the vehicle towed at the owner's expense.
G. 
Parking violators of this section shall be fined $25 for the first offense, $50 for the second offense, $150 for the third offense and $500 for each and every offense thereafter.
H. 
It shall be no defense that the owner of the vehicle did not personally park his/her vehicle on Aberdeen Court or Grove Street. The owner of the vehicle shall be jointly and severally liable for any costs arising from the violation of this section with any person who parks the vehicle in violation of this section.
I. 
No person may sell, buy and/or lease any permits issued pursuant to this section. Any person who sells, buys and/or leases any permits issued pursuant to this section shall be fined $500 for each and every sale, purchase or lease of said permits.

A. 
Purpose. The purpose of this section is to set forth the terms, conditions and process by which residents of the Borough of Haledon may obtain parking permits to park motor vehicles in the Haledon Municipal Building parking lot located at 510 Belmont Avenue.
B. 
Terms and conditions. Parking permits will be offered on the following terms and conditions:
(1) 
Permits will be valid from January 1 through December 31 of each year. If a permit is not renewed for the following year by January 1, it will be deemed to be expired. Renewal is the obligation of the permit holder. Reminder notices will not be sent. Permits issued in 2012 will be valid through December 31, 2013.
(2) 
Initial permits issued in 2012 shall cost $50. Starting in 2014 and continuing each year thereafter, permits shall increase $2 per year.
(3) 
The cost of any permit purchased after the start of a new year will not be prorated and will cost the full permit amount.
(4) 
No more than one permit will be issued per household.
(5) 
Applicants must present a valid driver's license, vehicle registration and insurance card bearing a matching address located in the Borough of Haledon together with a completed application that may be obtained from the Borough Clerk's office together with the annual permit fee.
(6) 
No watercrafts, recreational vehicles, all-terrain vehicles or mobile homes are eligible for a permit.
(7) 
Permit holders must understand that the Borough parking lot may at times not be accessible due to emergencies, including snow or ice conditions.
(8) 
Eligible vehicles must have a curb weight of no more than 6,500 pounds.
(9) 
Vehicles must park in the designated parking spaces.
(10) 
Permit stickers must be visible in the rear window of the vehicle.
(11) 
Parking is permitted between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. each day except Tuesday. On Tuesdays parking is permitted from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
(12) 
The number of parking spaces permitted under this section is limited and will be made available on a first-come-first-served basis. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
(13) 
Vehicles parked in the designated spaces during the hours designated by this section without a valid permit may be ticketed or towed at the owner's expense.
(14) 
Permit holders must be aware that this section may be revised without individual notice to each permit holder.
(15) 
A permit may be revoked for noncompliance with this section at the Borough's sole discretion.
