An office to be known as "Deputy Tax Assessor
of the Township of Hamilton in the County of Atlantic and State of
New Jersey" is hereby created pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-148, et seq.
The Deputy Tax Assessor shall perform such duties
and functions as are necessary to assist the Tax Assessor of the Township
of Hamilton, which shall include but not be limited to all duties
of the Tax Assessor under established statutes, rules and regulations
of the State of New Jersey and/or by ordinance of the Township of
Hamilton, County of Atlantic and State of New Jersey.
Any person appointed to the office of Deputy
Tax Assessor shall hold a tax assessor certificate.
The Deputy Tax Assessor shall hold office in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:9-148 and Chapter 66, Personnel.
