No motor vehicle shall be driven or operated on any pedestrian walkways, including areas commonly referred to as "school areas" and/or any unimproved areas, such as playing fields, any areas within any municipally owned park within the Township of Hanover, that pedestrian walkway known as "Patriots Path" and that walkway which leads from the Bee Meadow School and Bee Meadow Parkway.
For the purposes of this article, the definition of "motor vehicle" shall be the same as it is defined in Title 39 of the Revised Statutes and shall include all motorized vehicles of any nature.

A violation of this article shall be punishable by a maximum fine of $1,000 or by not more than 90 days in jail, or both.
