There is hereby created the position of Township
Engineer for the Township of Little Egg Harbor pursuant to N.J.S.A.
40A:9-140.
To be appointed to the position of Township
Engineer, an individual must be a licensed professional engineer in
the State of New Jersey.
The Township Engineer shall be appointed by the Township Committee and shall serve a one-year term, commencing January 1 of the year of appointment and ending on December 31 of the same year, or until a successor shall be appointed and qualified. The appointment of the Township Engineer shall be in accordance with the procedures developed by Chapter 40, entitled "Ethics."
