There is hereby created the position of Administrative
Secretary for the Township of Little Egg Harbor.
A.
The Administrative Secretary shall either assist an
administrative official of a department or autonomous government agency
by doing administrative stenographic and clerical work, usually varied
and involving some elements of trouble shooting, or, under immediate
direction of an administrative official, perform administrative stenographic
and clerical work, and supervise the office and other clerical and
related operations of a department or autonomous government agency.
The Administrative Secretary shall also perform other related work
as required.
B.
To be appointed to the position of Administrative
Secretary, an individual shall possess five years of experience in
the capacity of a secretary to an executive or administrative official
in a public or private organization which shall have included stenography
and transcribing. Successful completion of a two-year program in secretarial
science at an accredited college or university may be substituted
for two years of the above experience.
