The following fees and charges are hereby fixed and established for certain services extended and materials distributed by the Division of Police:

No search fee shall be charged in the event that a report or photograph is not on file with the Division of Police.
C. 
There shall be no charge for any report for which a formal request is made by any local, county, state or federal law, enforcement agency or by the federal postal authorities.

B. 
Definitions. As used in this section, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
DAY RATE
6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
DIVIDED HIGHWAY
Any roadway within the Township of Livingston divided by a grass median, concrete median, concrete curbing or concrete barrier.
NIGHT RATE
6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
C. 
Terms.
(1) 
All security/crowd control whether inside or outside is covered by the posted hourly rate.
(2) 
When a contractor or company calls the Livingston Police Department for coverage and gives less than 24 hours' notice, the hourly rate of pay will be the nighttime road construction rate for that current year.
(3) 
For any work where a police officer is needed on a divided highway, the police officer's rate of pay will be the road construction rate (day or night) for that contract year.
(4) 
Any job that goes over eight hours of work, the contractor will pay an extra two hours, in addition to the total hours of work put in by the officer or officers. When a job is split by officers, they will still receive the additional two hours if the job goes over eight hours of work.
The viewing or reviewing of reports or of photographs of accident scenes shall be permitted and conducted at Division of Police headquarters daily, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A. 
The Division of Police shall issue receipts for all fees and charges received for the services extended or materials furnished.
B. 
All fees and charges collected under this article shall be delivered to the Township Treasurer and thereafter deposited by him in the appropriate account of the Township.
