The list of banks authorized for acceptance of Borough of Longport funds shall be established by resolution adopted and amended from time to time by Commissioners of the Borough of Longport.

A. 
All checks and drafts, except payroll account checks which are produced by a private company, issued from authorized bank accounts shall bear the manual signature, or in lieu of, the facsimile signature of at least three of the following Borough of Longport officials: Mayor, Commissioners, Chief financial Officer, Borough Clerk, as the case may be.
B. 
Payroll account checks processed by a private company shall bear at least two facsimile signatures, with the signatures being any two of the Mayor, Commissioners or Chief Financial Officer.
C. 
All other checks must bear at least two of the three required signatures of the Mayor and Commissioners, and all checks and drafts shall bear at least one manual signature.
The accounts maintained by the Borough of Longport Municipal Court Administration shall require only the single signature of the Municipal Court Administrator or the Deputy Court Administrator in strict accordance with Municipal Court Administration rules and regulations.
Each official's facsimile signature slug or stamp bearing his or her facsimile signature shall remain in the possession of that official. The only exception is when said slug or stamp is needed for the sole purpose of placing that official's facsimile signature on checks/drafts. Within a reasonable time thereafter, said slug or stamp shall be returned to the official for safekeeping until such time as said slug or stamp is again needed to place the official's facsimile signature on checks and drafts.
