Pursuant to the Municipal Public Utility Law, N.J.S.A. 40:62-47 et seq.[1] and 40:63-1 et seq.[2], there is hereby created a Municipal Water and Sewer Utility as
an agency and instrumentality of the Borough of Longport, County of Atlantic
and State of New Jersey.

The Borough of Longport Water and Sewer Utility hereby created is a
utility contemplated and provided for by Chapter 62, Public Utilities Municipality
Owned,[1] and Chapter 63, Sewers, Drains and Disposal Plants by a Single
Municipality,[2] and shall have and exercise all of the powers and perform all
of the duties provided for by said laws and any other statutes heretofore
enacted thereto.
The Borough of Longport Municipal Water and Sewer Utility shall consist
of three members who shall also be the three Commissioners of the Borough
of Longport.
