There is hereby established a full-time position of employment to be known and designated as the "Construction Code Official/Building Subcode Official/Building Inspector/Housing Inspector/Zoning Officer."
The functions of the Construction Code Official/Building Subcode Official/Building Inspector/Housing Inspector/Zoning Officer are as follows:
A. 
Perform each and all the functions of a Construction Code Official and Building Subcode Official as set forth under the State Uniform Construction Code, including but not necessarily limited to physical site inspections, review of plans, issuing of permits and certificate of occupancy inspections.
B. 
Enforcement of Chapter 247, Property Maintenance.
C. 
Inspections and the issuance of continuing certificates of occupancy.
D. 
Inspections and completion of certifications of compliance with Chapter 247, Property Maintenance, under Chapter 261, Rent Control.
E. 
Inspections of unsafe structures and enforcement of Chapter 209, Land Use, Part 2, Zoning, and inspections therefor.
F. 
Inspections of all residential, commercial and industrial premises within the Borough of Maywood as required by local ordinance.
