[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Mount Holly 7-7-1980 as Sec. 12-7 of Ch. XII of these Revised General Ordinances. Amendments noted where applicable.]
GENERAL REFERENCES
Uniform construction codes — See Ch. 96.
All lots, dwelling houses, stores or other buildings and structures within the limits of the Township shall be numbered in conformity with the following general plan:
A. 
North and south numbers shall commence at Mill Street and Washington Street.
B. 
East and west numbers shall commence at High Street.
C. 
Odd numbers shall be on the east and north sides of the streets, and even numbers shall be on the south and west sides of the streets.

The Township Construction Official shall enforce the provisions of this chapter. Upon application of the owner of any property in the Township to said Construction Official, he shall furnish such owner with the correct number of such property. In such cases where a street does not intersect the above-named streets, the Construction Official shall make an assignment of numbers so as to be as closely in conformity with this general plan as possible, and his determination shall be final.
It shall be the duty of the owners and occupants of every structure in the Township to have placed thereon, in a place visible from the street, figures of at least 2 1/2 inches high showing the number of the structure.
The owner or occupants of any structure incorrectly or improperly or insufficiently numbered shall be notified, in writing, by the Building Inspector or his authorized representative to change or replace such incorrect or improper number or to affix a number where one is lacking within 10 days after receipt of such notice.
