[Amended 6-22-1992 by Ord.
No. 1992-5]
The Township Construction Official shall enforce the provisions of this
chapter. Upon application of the owner of any property in the Township to
said Construction Official, he shall furnish such owner with the correct number
of such property. In such cases where a street does not intersect the above-named
streets, the Construction Official shall make an assignment of numbers so
as to be as closely in conformity with this general plan as possible, and
his determination shall be final.
It shall be the duty of the owners and occupants of every structure
in the Township to have placed thereon, in a place visible from the street,
figures of at least 2 1/2 inches high showing the number of the structure.
The owner or occupants of any structure incorrectly or improperly or
insufficiently numbered shall be notified, in writing, by the Building Inspector
or his authorized representative to change or replace such incorrect or improper
number or to affix a number where one is lacking within 10 days after receipt
of such notice.
