The Borough Clerk is hereby authorized to act as the municipal agent for the purposes of compliance with the Senior Citizens and Disabled Protected Tenancy Act.[1]

Upon notice pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2A:18-61.27 to the Borough Clerk by any owner of any building within the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights that such owner seeks to convert such premises into condominiums or cooperatives and upon delivery to the Borough Clerk of the tenants' lists, stamped addressed envelopes and forms of notices, the owner of such premises shall pay a fee to the Borough in the sum as set forth in Chapter 133, Fees, per tenant, and until such fee is paid, such notice to the Borough Clerk shall not be deemed complete.
Thereafter, the Borough Clerk shall proceed in accordance with said law.
