No vehicle shall be stored in any such parking area and no vehicle which is being held for sale or resale by a person or party in the business of selling new or used vehicles shall be parked in any such parking area.
a. | The provisions, rules and regulations of this section pertaining to parking areas are applicable to all those parcels of land and premises situated on both sides of the railroad right-of-way at the Lyons Railroad Station and at the Basking Ridge Railroad Station, which are owned, leased, occupied or controlled by the Township and devoted to the purpose of parking motor vehicles, but do not apply to any lands or area within the right-of-way of any public street, road or highway. |
b. | These provisions, rules and regulations shall also be applicable to any other parcels or land and premises owned, leased, occupied or controlled by the Township now or hereafter, including the Henry Street - South Maple Avenue Parking Area. [Ord. #262; Ord. #787] |

No vehicle shall be parked except within a single designated parking space where indicated by marked lines on the surface of the parking area or as may be directed by the police or attendant in charge of the parking area or by a control sign indicating the designated area to park.

No trailers, trucks or buses shall be parked in any such parking area except only in such space as may be specifically designated for the same.

All vehicles shall be parked in any such area with the front of the vehicle facing the control sign, which designates the parking space therefor.

No vehicle shall be parked within the entrance or exit to any such parking area or within any of the aisles thereof.

Further rules and regulations pertaining to such parking areas and the parking of motor vehicles therein may be made by ordinance of the Township Committee.

Restricted time control signs shall be posted along with traffic control signs where applicable and where parking turnover is desired. Such time control signs shall restrict parking for the times designated. Employees of businesses having rights to parking by agreement in any municipal parking lot may park by permit only in designated spaces in the municipal parking lot. Overnight parking 2:00 a.m. through 6:00 a.m. is restricted to permitted vehicles.
