A.
Certain owners of real estate located within the Village
boundaries of the Village of Williamsville, Illinois, have installed
or will install an aeration system with filter and chlorinator instead
of a septic system.
B.
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Williamsville,
Illinois has determined that, in the interest of public health and
safety, certain requirements must be met.
A.
A real estate owner must submit his plans for the
aeration system with filter and chlorinator at the time of applying
for a building permit.

Also, the real estate owner must sign a statement
and file the same with the Clerk of the Village of Williamsville that
said owner has a service contract with an individual or corporation
who has been certified by the manufacturer of the aeration system
to install the system used. As long as the aeration system remains
in use, the real estate owner is required to maintain said service
contract.
C.
The system must be inspected every six months with
a written report by the certified installer sent to the Clerk of the
Village of Williamsville by the owner showing the results of said
inspection. If the person inspecting the filter system recommends
that any repairs to the system be made by the owner then the owner
must make said repairs.
D.
If owner transfers his interest in the real estate,
the new owner will be required to enter into the same or an equivalent
service contract on the system.
All aeration systems shall be directly discharged
through a properly engineered evaporation pit, which is approved by
the Village. No more than three aeration systems may point discharge
into the same body of water.
Any person who violates any section of this
chapter shall be fined in an amount not to exceed $750 for each offense,
and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during
or on which a violation occurs or continues or for each separate violation
occurring on the same day.
